Term Project - Due **** June, 23:59 HOL time.
In the past few years many musicals have popped up which do not feature any new music but instead use the music of a certain band/artist or from a decade/era and form a story around this. Sometimes the musicals tell the tale of the life of the artist but sometimes a brand new story is created and the music made to fit in somehow. In either case the important thing is that no songs are specifically written for the musical but instead the music was already in popular culture.
For your project I would like you to find me a musical which fits the criteria underlined above (often refered to as a Jukebox Musical) and tell me more about it. There are lots to choose from but if you are struggling for inspiration or are unsure what I am looking for, send me a message and I can give you some suggestions.
When you have chosen your musical I would like you to tell me the following information:
You do not need to be as detailed as I was in my lessons but this is worth 30 points so one word/line answers isn't really going to cut it. Remember you do not have to complete this project to pass the course but it will help you to get points and you will be rewarded for your effort. In addition, if you write about a musical which doesn't fit the critera underlined above you will get no points so read it carefully!
